I was there for 4 days for dental work. It was perfect for what I was doing and I managed to get a little fun too.

The staff was nice and when I messaged them they replied fast. It was in a great location and good value for the money . The theme of fashion , models and designers in the rooms was a nice touch for decor. Modern room. Walk to the beach, stores and the ferry.

I happen to be there when family’s with kids were there so everything they did or said echoed thru . No windows.

Central hotel yo walk 10min to the clubs, big and comfortable rooms and good staff and service

The breakfast they offer is very basic and expensive, the wifi does not reach the room and they didn’t clean the room, we had to ask for the towels.

Location of hotel near beach and night life. Near super market.

It's loud sometimes if people are partying inside the building. The exchange rate paying with credit card was higher. We decide to pay in cash at last, but we still got charge. Asked for a letter for our bank to clarify the charge on my credit card, but hotel didn't help. Does little things make me lower the rate of this hotel. A simple letter..

Nice location, and great to have a bathtub!

The property is well located if you want to stay in the hotel zone. It was comfortable and clean (except for the shower area). Bathtub was great to have. The staff are very nice.

The Shower and bathroom floor weren't very clean, and the drains need clearing as they are blocked. There's quite a lot of light that enters the room from outside at night, so take an eyeshade mask!

Charming hotel with awesome staff, marred by technical issues

The staff of this boutique hotel was superb! I feel bad that I lost my credit card two days before leaving, so I could not give them the parting tips they deserved, only whatever mxd we had left. The rooms are spacious, bathtub good enough, bed is enormous, TV useless, but we're not in vacation for TV, so that's in the plus category for us. If you like Mayan stella design or fashion design trivia, this is an excellent mix. The "bones" of the building, outside and in the inside common areas are stuccoed with Mayan syllabary cartouches and "hook-face" masks, there are big stellas, likely reproductions, in several places we kept finding during our stay, and the breakfast area is fashioned to resemble a jungle clearing with massive trees on the sides, and LED lights disguised like fireflies in hanging woven reed baskets of different shapes and sizes. At the south entrance, they have a few modern statues of some Mayan capitulating to another one, with piles of rubber and salt next to them. To complement this, each room is named after a fashion house, and inside there are (vintage) posters and pictures with trivia about those fashion companies. We saw 2 rooms, because Fendi had some repairs to be made when we arrived, and the awesome reception gave us Louis Vuitton. The breakfast buffet included was the best meal of most days. They have it poorly advertised outside, with large posters which don't do it justice, showing only a couple of options of the large and tasty actual selection available.

The place has a lot of potential and great staff, but our vacation time is precious and limited and should not be peppered with annoyances. Technical issues here even after we changed the room: many glass panels at the top of the hotel main area were broken, letting in the heat but not the breeze, the top open floor of the hotel was off limits, water temperature changing wildly during a 5min shower most of it spent in wrangling the antiquated water controls (separate cold and warm... everywhere else they have combined lever taps, why not in the shower??), toilet button having to be pressed for like 40 seconds to even attempt a flush, the sink bowl too far away from the water spigot making it almost impossible to brush teeth or wash hands without splashing on the table. Location: was 100m from the ocean or less, but had to walk 600m to get to the beach, and on the other side, Crocodile Lagoon was very rot-smelly; luckily most of the time the breeze blew from the ocean. All of it was acceptable for the discounted price we got, but definitely not for full price. What is not acceptable, and not this hotel's fault, is larger hotels being allowed to block off huge swaths of beach. Like the Hyatt Ziva next to us: we were 200m from a lighthouse and some ruins we were looking forward to stroll around and see, tried to do it 3 different days at different times of day, and each time we were stopped by hotel security and told we can't get through. Or the electricity company drastically reducing power delivery leading to reduced AC and some sleep problems after busy activities days. Another thing that was included, but not really up to the hotel, was the lunch and dinner at the included 3-4 restaurants. We never ate more than once per day (other than breakfast), and due to the heat, some days just a salad for each of us.

Cheap for a night couldn’t make it back to the island so this had to do for the day.

Family before us were arguing with receptionist due to them not valuing the booking.com price they had reservations for in the first place.

For one night good choise

Room had a bathtub which was nice and the staff was friendly. Clean and towels provided. Also we had the opportunity to leave our luggage after check out for free in a closed room.

Unfortunately every room is at the ground floor so you hear everything, as also everyone hears you. Noises in the morning/ night can be annoying and the light is coming fully inside from the inside/ reception .

For us it was a "last minute" booking as our original plan fell through...this was only available option at a reasonable price. Very surreal experience. The hotel is in an old pre-existing shopping centre that went bust and each room is an old shop with a wide shopping front- windows. The :design" element is just posters of various fashion designers stuck on walls and each room is named after a designer... Location was great with short walk to the beach and shopping mall.

Lots of noise from early morning due to renovation works.
